Hello Readers.

Day 2 and all is well. Adelay is getting the nursing skills down and sleeps like a pro. Stephanie and I were actually able to get some sleep! We're both now in the "waiting to go home" phase and can't wait to get out of the hospital tomorrow.

Like any new father I've starting taking lots of pictures. Some have been uploaded to the gallery.

Birthday

Hello World!

She's here!! Today at 7:03 a.m. we welcomed our baby, Adelay Carol Cooney, into the world. After a long 22 hour labor she arrived. Looking up at the world instead of down. She's pretty big: 8 pounds and 4 ounces, and 20.5 inches long. Mom and baby are doing well.

Nursery

Well, we spent a nice day inside today. Worked on the nursery and it is looking very nice. Hopefully the little one likes it. It's hard to believe that we're only a month away! I've spent several hours over the last week putting together the pack-n-play, swings, glider, etc. Looking forward to putting in the carseat later :-) Below are some pictures of the nursery. Enjoy!

New Ultrasound

Stephanie had her second ultrasound today.  The baby is estimated to weigh 3 lbs, 7 oz; looking a little big!  See some photos below.  There are some nice face shots.  No, we don't know what we're having other than a baby!

Baby Names

So, it seems the biggest challenge will be choosing the name of the baby.  A couple new names in the running this week.

For a boy: Fletcher

For a Girl: Adelay

Hmm, it just doesn't get easier. . .
